Net(working) brunch & social for non-techies
Come join us for a fun and laid back morning of networking and socialising in a small group with other non-techies (max 10 people) hosted by Michelle Szaraz Varveris - a fellow non-techie in tech, Strategy & Delivery Lead, Founder, and career in tech mentor, speaker and writer.
Whether you are considering a career in tech, are new to tech or have been in tech for a while, this event is perfect for anyone looking to:
- meet fellow non-techies and professionals working in tech
- expand networks
- make new friends and
- get access to relevant career advice and support to launch or advance a career in tech.
What's the plan for the day? We'll:
- get to know each other through some easy and fun workshop techniques used by tech teams that you can then apply in your daily work so you'll get to learn and grow new practical skills (no special skills or prior experience needed)
- share and exchange career tips, advice and support that take into account and leverage your non-tech background and unique circumstances to boost your career in tech and confidence
- make meaningful connections in a casual setting and
- enjoy a cozy cup of warm drink or a delicious brunch (this is not included in the ticket cost so the choice is yours)

Please note that:
- the location is pending final confirmation but will likely take place in Dishoom Shoreditch or another central London location with close access to public transport
- food and drinks are not included in the ticket cost and everyone will be responsible for covering their own consumables
- the tickets are limited to 10 attendees and due to high interest we recommend you book yours as soon as possible to avoid missing out
- the tickets are non-refundable and need to be purchased to secure your place - they will cover the costs of materials we will use during activities
