Networking Cooperative Games Night

This series of game nights is a relaxed way to network with like-minded people through playing a collaborative game, and reflecting on what ideas from the game we can bring into our work and our lives.

This is for you if (any of the following applies):

• you are curious about, or enjoy playing, cooperative games, those in which we all work together towards a common goal
• you are concerned about the climate crisis
• you want your work to be more aligned with your principles
• you want to connect with other people, especially freelancers, who care about people and planet

Join us for one or all game nights. Bring your friends or come solo, everyone's welcome!

We’ll play Daybreak, a board game about stopping climate change. It’s a fully cooperative game, with no turns! So you’ll be openly strategising with your team mates, and playing climate solution cards to build a greener and fairer future for all.

There will be several game tables, drinks, snacks, and lots of good chat. We won't aim to finish the game in one session. Instead we'll leave time to reflect, and share ideas and aspirations.

The series is hosted by Matteo Menapace, co-designer of Daybreak, and Damiano De Simone, founder of FFASE - Freelancers for a Sustainable Earth.

What is FFASE?

Founded by Damiano, an introverted designer (freelancer himself) who decided to speak up for his values and do something meaningful. FFASE stands for Freelancers for a Sustainable Earth, and is a London-based community born to create positive impact through real connections, events, and work done by ethical professionals. And soon, a platform where purpose-driven freelancers can find new jobs with ethically aligned clients, where they also have the chance to donate to selected nonprofits around the world, and be rewarded for that.
