About this event

Business • Startups

For our November networking event in conjunction with the Federation of Small Businesses, we’re joined by Colin Tapscott, Professional & Personal Development Coach.

Colin will explain the principles of ‘Everyday Alchemy’. How, like the ancient alchemists who turned metal into gold, we can turn everyday moments into moments of value when we use these principles. Colin will explain how we can Pause, Reflect and Respond and use the 4Ws to make the best of things in the moment.

You can then ReVISIT, ReVIEW, ReFRAME and ReBUILD afterwards to turn what might first seem like a trashy moment into treasure.

You don’t just sit and listen in Colin’s sessions. He uses games and activities to act as a metaphor to help us learn (as well as have lots of fun).

You’ll leave the session knowing:

  • Simple steps to regain your ‘locus of control’ in the moment
  • How to review for improvement afterwards
  • How to build a resilience that will not just help you to survive but thrive from challenging moments in life and business

Imagine feeling empowered for learning and growth in life and business!

There will be time for networking and a chance to speak to us about the free support we can offer your business through one-to-ones, workshops, access to market research databases and intellectual property guidance.
