Berkshire Black Business presents an evening of Networking for Success.
Ever wondered what makes networking seem so effortless for some people?
This interactive presentation will help you to understand the power of networking which is far more than simply ‘collecting’ contacts and business cards. We will look at how you can make your introduction memorable and how to communicate effectively. There will be opportunities to meet and mix with other business people in an informative and fun way.
The presentation will be lead by Ute Wieczorek-King, who is an experienced mentor and business coach who runs Success Network, a business support organisation for female micro-business owners. Ute helps ‘solopreneurs’ to be more visible, effective and profitable in business. She is co-author of networking handbook “From Contact to Advocate (TM)”, a seven-step approach to developing referral relationships that generate more business. Having published over 200 business blogs and articles, she has recently been featured on Huffington Post and Prowess 2.0, the online centre for women in business.
We will also hear from university lecturer Dr Elizabeth Omole who is about to launch a new African restaurant, Faith Kitchen, on the Oxford Road in Reading. She will share her story so far.
