About this event
Welcome to The Kind Vibe: A Refreshing Approach to Networking and Community for Local Women in Business
Come along and join us on Thursday Sept 18th at Oaks Park Cafe, for a networking event designed to feel genuine, supportive, and truly meaningful.
At The Kind Vibe, we offer an alternative to the typical networking experience—one where connection is prioritised over performance, and where women in business can come together in a relaxed, encouraging space.
Whether you're just starting out or have been running your business for years, this event is for you.
What Makes The Kind Vibe Different?
This isn’t a room full of sales pitches or competitive energy.
Instead, you'll find open conversations, honest stories, and a welcoming group of women who understand both the rewards and challenges of building a business.
There’s no pressure to “sell yourself” or have all the answers. This is a space for authentic connection, mutual encouragement, and shared experiences—both the successes and the struggles.
You’ll leave feeling seen, supported, and reminded that you’re not alone in the journey.
What to Expect on the Day
Arrive any time from 10.00am
Settle in with a coffee or tea and something sweet to eat. Take a moment to arrive and get comfortable.
10:15am – Introductions
We’ll go around the room with brief introductions—just your name and a little about what you do. There’s no need to prepare a polished and perfect pitch, we're much more relaxed here at The Kind Vibe.
10:45am – Guided networking
Through gentle rotation prompts, you'll have the opportunity to speak with several other women in short, focused conversations. These are designed to help you connect naturally, without awkwardness or pressure.
11.45am - Whole Group Discussion
In the last 45 mins, we’ll bring everyone together for a relaxed, open conversation around a central topic relevant to women in business—something thoughtful and practical that invites sharing and reflection. You’re welcome to contribute, listen, or simply take it all in. This part of the event is about learning from one another and building collective wisdom.
12.30 - Event finishes
Who Is This For?
This event is open to women who own or are starting a business—whether product-based, service-based, or still taking shape.
We welcome all backgrounds, industries, and stages of business. If you’re looking for a space to connect with others who understand the realities of entrepreneurship, you’ll feel right at home here.
Meet Your Host
Anne-Marie Czastka is a Web Designer who created The Kind Vibe out of a desire for more honest, human connection in the business world. Tired of traditional networking environments that felt transactional and inauthentic, she built the kind of event she was looking for—one rooted in kindness, inclusion, and genuine support.
A Continued Community
After the event, you’ll be invited to join our private WhatsApp group—a growing community of 85+ women who continue to support one another long after the event ends. From advice and encouragement to resource sharing and occasional venting, it’s a space where business doesn’t have to feel isolating.
We also believe in community over competition.
This means there’s no exclusivity—others may do similar work, and that’s welcomed here. We believe that when women support each other, there’s more than enough opportunity to go around.
Ready to join us?
Come as you are. Bring a notebook if you’d like, some business cards if you have them, and most importantly—bring your whole, kind self. We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you into The Kind Vibe community.
