BIPC expert SJ Paines is a qualified Chartered (UK) and European Patent Attorney. SJ can advise on patent and design protection in the UK and overseas, and works with clients from a variety of sectors including electrical and electronic engineering, computer software, and mechanical engineering.

What is your cancellation policy?

The majority of our events are free, but places are often limited - especially for in-person events, therefore please make sure you cancel your place, if you are unable to attend. You can cancel through your Eventbrite booking or emailing bipc@brighton-hove.co.uk.

Can I attend if I'm not a member of the library?

Absolutely! Any Sussex based business/ person with a business idea is welcome. Though we always recommend joining the library as it's free and will make accessing our databases, books and publications much easier.
