The art of Networking is a skill that blends communication, connecting, confidence and an oportunist attitude as a means of building professional relationships with others to help your career develop.
Networking can often seem very daunting. With some simple but effective tips and techniques you can arm yourself with the tools which will give you the confidence to meet new people, have meaningful conversations and deliver your message with clarity and conviction. Face to face, one-to-ones, new client meetings, phone calls or conferences, the power of your message lies with you. Verbally and physically are you communicating clearly, concisely and confidently? You can never make a second first impression. Make your next moment count and start building meaningful working relationships.
- How well do you communicate? In new situations with strangers, do you have meaningful, clear, concise, convicted conversations?
- Do you have a positive opportunistic attitude? Do you see every new introduction as an opportunity for building productive working relationships?
- How good is your NVC or Non Verbal Communication? Are you aware of all the things you say, the messages you put out, without opening your mouth? How well can you read other people?
- EVERY connection in business is an opportunity to share ideas, collaborate, discuss, trade and most importantly, to learn. How can we conquer our fear to see networking this way?
Join us to learn some really practical techniques to develop your confidence when meeting new people for the first time . We'll look at how and why you should practise your skills in order to make networking a positive and productive experience to allow you to be open to potential connections and to build solid working relationships.
