🎤 Guest Speaker: Dr Tim Fooks, High Sheriff of West Sussex

We are delighted to welcome Tim Fooks, the current High Sheriff of West Sussex, as our keynote speaker.

Tim recently retired after over 30 years as a GP in Pulborough, where he was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners for his national work promoting the early detection of sepsis in children.

As High Sheriff, he is serving a second historic term, the first person to do so in Sussex since 1551. During his first appointment in 2020 – coinciding with the Covid-19 pandemic – he used the role to highlight the issue of loneliness and celebrate the remarkable voluntary action that emerged across West Sussex.

Through his leadership, writing, and community engagement, Tim continues to champion mental health, resilience, and the spirit of service across the county.

We’re honoured to have him join us to share his insights on community, connection, and purpose.
