Networking with Meaning – Join us for a morning of purposeful networking at the Aldingbourne Country Centre on 17th September from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM.

This free event is the perfect opportunity to connect with local business leaders, gain insights from our Keynote Speaker, Philippa Gogarty, Co-Founder of Micro Scooters UK, and an introduction of Supported Employment by Katie Williams from WorkAid.

This event is promoted by the Aldingbourne Trust, a charity dedicated to helping adults with learning disabilities and autism live independent lives.

What to Expect:

  • Purposeful Networking: Connect with local business leaders and like-minded individuals who share your passion for community impact.
  • Inspiring Keynote: Hear from Philippa Gogarty, co-founderof Micro Scooters UK in 2004, pioneering children’s three-wheeled scooters and introducing two-wheeled aluminium scooters to the UK. A former hospital Campaign Director, she has raised over £20 million for major health projects and served as a trustee for several charities. Since 2016 she has focused on refugee support, volunteering in France and the UK and becoming a Trustee of Sanctuary in Chichester in 2021.
  • Katie Williams, our Deputy Manager of WorkAid with over a decade of experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, and neurodivergence into paid work. Alongside one of our ambassador, she will give an insightful introduction into the world of supported employment.
