NetZero Networking Summer Walk in the Woods

NetZero Networking connects socially and environmentally minded people from the public, private and not-for-profit sectors through sustainable events.

About this event

This morning walk is your chance to take a break from the day-to-day routine, get some fresh air and exercise whilst meeting with like-minded business leaders.

The route we'll take explores the woodlands above Chartham, Kent.

There'll be time to chat and for silence and solitude - Breathe, Relax, Be Inspired!

It is suitable for people with a reasonable level of fitness.

Itinerary:

10 am Meet at Pennypot Woods, for introductions.

11.30 am Return to the car parking area.

What you will need:

Clothing - Check the weather forecast and dress/bring appropriate clothing.

Please bring a drink and a snack for this walk. There are no refreshments or public toilets nearby.

What to expect:

This is a relaxed, friendly and informal networking event.

You'll have a chance to introduce yourself and your work/business when we meet, and you'll be encouraged to get to know everyone.

It's not about pitching or referrals. These events are about collaboration, support, and information sharing.

You are welcome to bring your business or sustainability questions, challenges, opportunities or topics you would like to share and discuss.

Travel:

Please travel to the event as sustainability as you can. Could you lift share or cycle?

100% of your ticket donation will be passed on to Macmillan Cancer Care through Rachael Carley's Chase the Sun fundraising page. Please give generously to support this great cause.

Event Leader:

Rachael Carley is a certified Performance Coach, NLP Practitioner, Sustainability Practitioner, and walking and cycling leader.

The impact of travel to this event will be measured and reported. A tree will be planted for every new NetZero Networking participant and the carbon footprint of participant travel will be offset through carbon offsetting initiatives.
