Ela Orleans is a Polish composer, multi-instrumentalist and singer. Orleans uses electronic and acoustic instruments (including synthesisers, guitar, violin, piano) to create a diverse and layered music. Orleans is based in Glasgow. 'Ela Orleans is a revelation. DON PATERSON (Book Launch)
Don Paterson was born in 1963 in Dundee, Scotland. He is Professor of Poetry at the University of St Andrews, and since 1996 has been poetry editor at Picador MacMillan. He is the author of eight books of poetry, and also works as a guitarist and composer. He has won many prizes including the T.S. Eliot Prize (twice), Costa Poetry Award and all three Forward Prizes and the Queen's Gold Medal for Poetry.
This event marks the launch of his Paterson's collection Zonal published by Faber & Faber.

They provide a platform for emerging and established artists - individuals and collectives - connected to Scotland. Through their program, they engage with the public in a personal and intimate manner which aims to give the audience a clearer insight into contemporary art.
