Summary:

This 90-minute workshop explores how championing the diversity of human minds can create a more inclusive, innovative, and productive work environment. This engaging and informative session is designed to enhance understanding of neurodiversity and equip professionals with strategies to foster a neuroinclusive workspace and culture where every mind can thrive.

Aim:

To deepen understanding of how fostering a neuroinclusive environment cultivates the conditions for every individual to harness their unique strengths and thrive.

Objectives:

The session will explore:

The fundamentals of neurodiversity: exploring what it means and why it matters.
Insights into neurodivergent experiences, including dyslexia, autism, ADHD, dyspraxia, and dyscalculia.
Characteristics of a workplace that supports and celebrates neurodiversity.
Practical strategies to build an inclusive and supportive work environment.
How to access further resources for ongoing professional development.

Outcome:

By the end of the workshop, delegates will have:

Deepened understanding of the unique profiles of teammates and colleagues.

Explored a range of strategies and tools to nurture neurodiversity the workplace.

Confidence to promote open dialogue that supports inclusivity and celebrates diversity.

Holly is a dedicated professional with over 15 years of experience in teaching and providing training to learners and staff across secondary schools, FE colleges, universities, and workplaces. She holds a PGCE, a Level 5 Diploma in Teaching Learners with Specific Learning Difficulties, and a qualification in psychometric assessment. Additionally, Holly has a full Assessment Practicing Certificate, which enables her to accurately identify dyslexia and other specific learning differences.

In her multifaceted career, Holly takes on many roles. She conducts Access Arrangements assessments in schools for GCSE and A-level exams, ensuring students receive tailored support to excel academically. Her assessment work spans late primary students to adults, offering comprehensive assessments for dyslexia and other SpLDs. Holly also provides workplace training and consultancy services, partnering with organisations to cultivate inclusive environments that embrace neurodiversity.

Driven by a passion to empower individuals, Holly focuses on unlocking potential and equipping educational institutions and workplaces with the tools to foster inclusivity and understanding.
