The aim of the training:
Participants will explore the links between Neurodivergence and Eating Distress, gaining valuable knowledge and understanding across both subjects. Whilst the primary focus is on Eating Distress and Neurodivergence, Autism and ADHD will be highlighted throughout.
At the end of the session participants will have the ability to apply new considerations and compassion effectively within their general work setting.
Learning new ways to work with the people in their care and knowing when to reach out to appropriate service providers as a result of engaging in ‘Neurodivergence and Eating Distress' training provided by Eating Distress North East.
The learning outcomes:
Learning Outcome 1: A primary understanding of eating distress.
Learning Outcome 2: Understanding Neurodivergence with a focus on Autism and ADHD.
Learning Outcome 3: Exploring the links of eating distress and Neurodivergence.
Learning Outcome 4: Considerations for working with the people in your care.
Learning Outcome 5: Strategies and when to seek further help.
