This workshop is aimed at any staff member who either suspects they might be autistic or have ADHD, or those who have a diagnosis. This workshop will also be beneficial for any staff member hoping to better understand and support their neurodivergent colleagues. Managers, supervisors and those in leadership positions will benefit from the workshop to help improve wellbeing amongst neurodivergent staff. We will work towards improving equality, diversity and inclusion in our workplace. We will reflect on how we can improve work-related wellbeing and also effectiveness amongst our neurodivergent colleagues.

On completion of the course participants will:

  • Have a better understanding of Autism and ADHD
  • Understand some of the unique strengths that neurodivergent staff bring to our workforce
  • Understand some of the barriers for neurodivergent staff in their roles
  • Understand how to find creative solutions, or Reasonable Adjustments, to improve work-related wellbeing and effectiveness

Safety note: There will be no expectation to share your concerns about your own neurodivergence (suspected or diagnosed) in the training. People are able to share their personal experiences if they wish, however this is not a requirement.
