Are you neurodivergent (or wondering if you are) and craving real-life connection?

This is the second gathering of a new local, free-to-join community created by and for neurodivergent adults. We had a fabulous first, free-flow meet-up and will continue to shape some of the below aspects of the community over the coming months.

  • We’ll co-create group values
  • Choose a name for the community
  • Share ideas & needs for on-going connection

This space is for:

  • Autistic, ADHD, dyslexic, OCD, dyspraxic adults
  • Diagnosed or self-identified
  • All genders & backgrounds welcome

Sensory-friendly. Low-pressure. Judgement-free.

Bring fidgets, ear defenders, stim toys — or just come as you are.

Whether you speak or just listen, you’re welcome here.

Location

I have reserved "The Library" at the Westow House, a private room on the ground floor of the pub. See here for photos and details, so you can get a feel for the space. When you enter from the patio doors off Westow Hill, take the first door to your left. There is usually ample free parking on Farquhar Road and the surrounding streets.

Ready to sign up? Got questions?

I will be sending out more information to those registering for the event to help us get ready for deep and authentic connection so make sure to book your free ticket!

Got questions? Can't make this date but keen to join in the future? Head over to my email or Instagram so we can chat :)

Frequently asked questions

I'm interested but can't make this date - will you run another event in the future?

Yes! We currently plan to run these meet-ups on a monthly basis, so follow for updates on when the next one is confirmed :)

Is food and drink available?

You can absolutely order food and drink at the bar right outside the Library (our private room) but there is no minimum spend, and the pub kindly let us have the room free of charge - hence why I was able to keep this a free-to-attend event.

I might not make it for 7:30pm, is that ok?

Of course - this is a neuroaffirming space so we understand that our bodies and minds don't run like Swiss watches! There will be some structured, creative work that I'm hoping to get into together, so if you know you're running late, could you let me know via email or Instagram (above) please?

Can I bring my dog?

The pub is dog-friendly so in theory that would be just fine (and I love dog cuddles!) but I'm also mindful that there will be others attending who may be afraid of dogs or find it difficult to be around them due to their OCD, so if you plan do bring yours, can you let me know in advance please?

I'm curious to come, but worry it may be too intense/overwhelming for me. Is it ok if I leave early?

Of course - this is a safe and judgement-free space. There is absolutely no pressure, and I encourage you to bring with you what will help you feel most comfortable and to listen to your intuition if it doesn't feel the right space.

Can I park near the venue?

I understand that the surrounding roads e.g. Farquhar Rd near the venue offer free parking but worth a google maps street view search ahead of time!
