About this event

This event will take place in The Curve, G.02.

This is an informative and interactive session to help increase the knowledge of the different conditions under the neurodiversity umbrella and the link between this and mental health.

Guest speakers:

Amy Swainston

Amy is a Trainer and qualified Psychotherapist who has vast experience of supporting individuals experiencing poor mental health and delivering training to organisations to support Managers on such topics. With a deep understanding of the pressures faced in high-stress environments, Amy has worked extensively with professionals across a range of industries, including healthcare, law enforcement, corporate leadership, and elite sport.

In addition to supporting workplace mental health through assessment, one to one therapy, and return-to-work strategies, Amy has a strong background in working with professional athletes. Her work focuses on optimising mental performance, managing stress and burnout, navigating injury recovery, and building long-term resilience both on and off the field.

Amy is extremely passionate about helping others understand and support themselves and each other in this arena.
