As part of my Access to Work support - I have been granted funding for my colleagues and peers to participate in training on Neurodiversity, to help give a better understanding to those around myself and other colleagues in Bristol City Council.

Topics that will be covered are:

  • What is Neurodiversity?
  • Language
  • A look at dyslexia, autism, and ADHD, including: What It Is (and isn’t)
  • Challenges
  • Strengths
  • Supporting
  • An exploration of the Equality Act and reasonable adjustments
  • Discussion

Martin from Neurobox will be coming to deliver the training on Tuesday 23rd September - 10am until 12.30pm in room 3P 04.
