Neurodiversity in the Workplace Masterclass

By Inspired HR
Online event

Overview

This masterclass will provide a clear, practical introduction to neurodiversity in the workplace.

This masterclass will provide a clear, practical introduction to neurodiversity in the workplace, grounded in Inspired Minds’ specialist approach to supporting neurodivergent employees.

The session will cover the core neurodivergent profiles commonly seen at work - ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia and Tourette Syndrome - and explain how differences in attention, communication, sensory processing, structure, coordination and emotional regulation can influence day-to-day working life. The focus is on understanding, not labelling, and recognising that neurodiversity is often invisible but highly relevant to performance, wellbeing and innovation.

Attendees will explore the legal framework under the Equality Act 2010, including the definition of disability, the duty to make reasonable adjustments, and key case law. The session reinforces that a medical diagnosis is not required; self-recognition is enough to trigger support responsibilities.

Most importantly, the masterclass will set out practical steps organisations can take immediately. This includes creating safe conversations, using recognised screening tools, engaging Occupational Health where appropriate, tailoring reasonable adjustments, setting expectations and structure clearly, and reviewing support regularly. These actions form the foundation of inclusive, compliant and effective people management.

Guided by Inspired Minds’ belief that neurodiversity drives creativity and potential when the right environment is in place, the masterclass aims to give leaders and teams the confidence and tools to support every unique mind to thrive at work.

This session is delivered by Inspired Mids Founder & CEO Nikki Masterman.
