This training course is being held virtually via Microsoft Teams and is available to anyone living or working within the Plymouth community.
This workshop is an open invite and opportunity to explore how workplaces, businesses, managers and colleagues can support neurodivergent employees in ways that not only enhance productivity and confidence, but also create a working environment that is more inclusive and neurodivergent friendly.
Throughout the workshop we will focus around the following areas:
- Common challenges faced by individuals who are neurodivergent
- Emotional safety, stress and trauma - what does this mean?
- From recruitment to employment - meeting the needs early and building trust
- The positive and negative impact of the working environment
- Small changes that employers and businesses can make, and what not to do.
- No one-size-fits-all approach!
