Neuroinclusive Education Network(AET) Understanding Neurodivergence

Adapted from the AET materials to include a wider scope on understanding neurodivergence from a range of professional backgrounds, including:

· An overview of neurodiversity, neurodivergence, neurotypes and neuro-affirming approaches

· An overview of strengths and differences for neurodivergent CYP

· An understanding of the impact of these strengths and differences in school

· Developing delegates ability to identify barriers to learning

· Developing an understanding of reasonable adjustments that can be put in place for a range of neurodivergent needs
