How can mindsets influence leadership success? What tools can change a great manager into a great leader?

Jo Owen is the best-selling and multi-award winning leadership author of The Mindset of Success, Myths of Leadership and The Leadership Skills Handbook, all published by Kogan Page.

2.35 pm - Alexandros Psychogios, Neuroscience as a Tool for Leaders

How do you use neuroscience to fine-tune the brain? Aimed at helping leaders to operate more effectively in dynamic and complex business environments.

Dr. Alexandros Psychogios is a Professor in Birmingham City Business School at Birmingham City University. He is also a Research Visitor in South Eastern European Research Centre and Associate Researcher in GNOSIS Research Group of the Management School at the University of Liverpool. His specialization is on Leadership & Complexity, Neuro-leadership, International Human Resource Management, and Performance Management. Prof. Psychogios has a wide-range experience of participating in various consultancy and research projects on issues of leadership development. He also delivers innovative executive training seminars and consultancy in complexity and applied neuroscience for leadership across the world. He is co-author of Neuroscience for Leaders, published by Kogan Page.

3.10 pm - Hilary Scarlett, Neuroscience as a Tool for Managing Change

How can you use neuroscience to help ensure the success of change management programmes? How do you build cultures and design processes that help people be more innovative, productive and engaged?

Hilary Scarlett is a consultant, writer, speaker and director of Scarlett & Grey. Her work on the development of people-focused change management programmes, coaching and employee engagement has spanned Europe, the US and Asia. She is currently conducting research on applied neuroscience with four major organizations in the private and public sectors. She is also author of Neuroscience for Organizational Change, published by Kogan Page.

3.35 pm - Interactive Roundtable Discussions

An opportunity for the delegation to really get to grips with the subject area. Attendees will be requested to discuss the expert talks amongst their roundtables and to come up with questions and discussion points for the subsequent panel discussion.
