Event description

Description

Event Details:

Anyone who is curious about why we do what we do and picks up a book such as “Social” by Matt Liebermann or “Brain Rules” by John Medina will enjoy the insightful and interesting scientific explanations and the stories that bring them to life. How do we actually apply this in our own organisations?

In this session Stephanie Peckham of Q595 – a learning consultancy “powered by neuroscience” - will share a few of the scientific principles which inform their work and explain how these principles support both learning design and content.

This will be an interactive session where you will have time to consider how this applies to your own learning interventions and interpersonal experiences.

Speakers:

Stephanie Peckham FCIPD

Stephanie already had many years in Learning and Development and coaching behind her when she joined Q595. She was looking for something to re-ignite her passion and here she found how understanding some basic neuroscientific principles explained why some of the things she was doing intuitively worked – and sometimes didn’t! It is this “why” element that attracts her to neuroscience and informs how she and her Q595 colleagues design, facilitate, coach and continue their own development.

Stephanie has an international portfolio and divides her time between her work at Q595 and as an Executive Coach at London Business school. For more information about Stephanie visit https://www.linkedin.com/in/stephaniepeckham/ and the work of Q595 visit www.q595.com
