About this Event
Can Immersive Virtual Experiences empower women of colour by exposing them to narratives created for and by them? What happens when research is taken outside of the laboratory and conducted in public spaces?
These are some questions Hope Idaewor and the Hyphen-Labs research division explored through the NSAF experience as they endeavoured to play a part in changing the way women of colour are depicted in storytelling, media, society, and the future.
Join Carmen Aguilar y Wedge, Ashley Baccus Clark, Hope Idaewor and Sylvia Theuri as they discuss women of colour, storytelling and the future.
This talk will be an online only event, and it take place through Microsoft Teams. Attendees will receive a link to join the session.
