Gary McRobb, Tommy Webster and Frank Clifton, friends of 45 years, are joining forces again for the event to honour Gary and Tommy's late fathers, who were both named Tom and known affectionately as 'The Two Tams'. The pair, who suffered from dementia, passed away within months of each other and a concert to be held on September 27th - ‘The Two Tams Part 3 - An evening of live music and entertainment in memory’ - will raise funds for Forget Me Not Club.
Friends Gary, Tommy and Frank previously organised The Two Tams Parts 1 and 2 in 2023 and 2024 and raised approx. £11,000.
The third concert, entitled ‘ Never Mind Dementia Here’s the Two Tams - Part 3 ‘will be held on Saturday, 27th September at OGV Taproom & Podium, Windmill Brae, with all funds raised going to Forget Me Not Club.The evening will feature a fantastic line-up of live music and entertainment, including:
Sibling Sons - Four-piece Indie and Rock cover band. Based in Aberdeen, Scotland
The Late Breakers, Three piece local band performing all your favourite songs from the last few decades
DJ Lewis will be joining us to play some classic throwbacks for all to enjoy
A Scottish piper will announce the arrival on stage for each band
The evening will be hosted by the fantastic Eric Doyle
