I don't know about you, but that back-to-school September feeling always has me realising - Oh God! I only have a few months to finish out my 2025 goals!!!!
Which is why I'm bringing back "Never Miss a Monday: Weekly Zoom Sessions for Writers" after their success last autumn. These will run weekly from Monday 1st September through til mid-December.
These weekly zooms provide an online writing session designed to keep you motivated, accountable, and moving forward with your writing project. Starting in September, we’ll meet every Monday evening to buckle down, write, and push through those creative blocks together.
Why "Never Miss a Monday"? As the end of the year draws closer and festive calendars get fuller, you're invited to ringfence Monday nights to dedicate to your practice. Zoom writing sessions are a brilliant way to keep yourself accountable and make tangible progress.
What You'll Get:
- Dedicated Writing Time: Carve out space in your week to focus solely on your writing.
- Body Doubling and Accountability: Benefit from a supportive community that helps you stay on track.
- Connection and Check-Ins: Engage with like-minded writers, share progress, and encourage each other. We check in at the beginning and end of each session to set goals then see how the writing went.
What you need to do:
- Just show up!!! If you struggle to drag yourself to the laptop and just start writing, these zooms are the ideal way to SHOW UP for yourself and your creative project (take it from a serial procrastonator!)
- Step by step small commitments: By booking in - either with a £3 ticket or, if money's tight, a donation of even £1, you've created both a minor irritant to your bank balance, and a mental commitment to yourself. You'd be shocked how much you can get done by just showing up for an hour and a half, even if it's to brain dump.
- See what emerges: Bring a project you're already working on, or use this time to sift through the space junk in your head and find what you want to make. Our mindset is - any progress is meaningful, no matter how small.
