Event description

Description

Join us at the Francis Crick Institute on April 1st for the workshop – “New approaches to study chromatin in development and disease”.

This half day scientific event will bring together junior and senior researchers from King’s College London, University College London, Imperial College London and The Francis Crick Institute, with shared interests in chromatin biology and epigenetic mechanisms of development and disease.

The key objectives with this workshop are to:
- Integrate knowledge across all HEIs
- Forge research partnerships within and across institutions
- Foster academic cross-pollination of skills, methodology and techniques

The event will include:
· Science speed networking event aimed at students and post-doctoral researchers to engage in scientific discussion.
· Poster session for junior researchers to share their scientific outputs, spur discussion and forge new partnerships with other participants.
· Talks given by junior and senior independent investigators from the Crick and HEIs, focusing on the development and/or application of novel techniques to biological questions.

This is the first workshop on studying chromatin in development and disease to be held at the Crick Institute. This event will highlight current and exciting scientific research in the field, whilst providing opportunities for researchers to present, discuss, collaborate and troubleshoot in the poster and networking events. We invite abstract submission to present a poster. Abstracts should be no longer than 500 words, and include the title, authors and institution information. Please submit your abstracts to: hei-abstracts@crick.ac.uk
Please note the deadline for registration and abstract submission is Wednesday 27th March.
We look forward to seeing you at the event on April 1st!
