New Chair of Governors Training Course 1st and 3rd December

This two-session online course supports newly appointed or inexperienced Chairs of Governors, Vice-Chairs, Co-Chairs, Committee Chairs, and those aspiring to take on leadership roles within Catholic school governance. The training covers the key responsibilities specific to the Chair's role, with a strong focus on leadership and direction in a faith-based educational setting. By the end of the course, participants will have a clearer understanding of their duties and how to carry them out with assurance and purpose.

Target Audience: Newly appointed / Inexperienced Chairs, Vice-Chairs, Co-Chairs, Committee Chairs and those who aspire to become Chairs.

Course Aim: The aim of this course over two sessions is to provide new Chairs of Governors (and others) in Catholic schools with the knowledge and expertise to manage this important role with confidence.
