Welcome to the Free Nordic Walking Course at Bedwellty Park! Join qualified instructors Mel Jones and Esther Apoussidis of Thriving Communities CIC for the first of 4 weekly sessions on Sunday, November 16th, 2025 at 10:00 AM for a fun and energising experience.
Whether you're new to Nordic walking or looking to improve your skills, this course is perfect for all levels. Don't miss out on this opportunity to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful surroundings of Bedwellty Park while getting some exercise. Nordic Walking poles and tuition by qualified instructors provided.

Event Description:
Join Thriving Communities CIC for a free, four-week Nordic Walking course in the beautiful surroundings of Bedwellty Park, Tredegar.
Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, this programme is designed to help you improve fitness, reduce stress, and reconnect with nature — all while enjoying the company of like-minded people.
Led by British Nordic Walking Instructors Mel Jones and Esther Apoussidis, this friendly course will introduce you to the correct techniques of Nordic Walking, helping you build confidence and strength step by step.
Poles and training are provided — so all you need to bring is yourself, comfortable walking shoes, and a willingness to enjoy the outdoors!
