The annual New Directions Conference involves students and staff from the Sociology Department of the School of Social and Political Science of the University of Edinburgh. The conference will be a mix of postgraduates student presentations, staff presentations, round tables, and invited presentations by recent PhD graduates. This will be a great occasion for staff and postgraduate students to get to know each other better and engage with each other's research projects. The Sociology Department will also host a dinner on Monday night with live music by The Chili Dogs.
