New Directions in Print Culture Studies
Tue 9 May 2017, 09:00 – 17:30 BST
Annual Symposium of the Print Culture Research Unit at Oxford Brookes University
This one-day symposium explores where the discipline of print culture studies is heading and reflects on how studying publishing and book history contexts – from the 19th century to the present day – alters the nature of, or provides new insights into traditional disciplines. It brings together established academics and PhD students with interests in publishing studies, the history of the book, literary and cultural history, and the digital humanities. The keynote speakers are: Dr Samantha Rayner, University College London and Dr Shafquat Towheed, Open University.
