NEW DIRECTIONS PERFORMANCES
MONDAY 5TH DECEMBER - WEDNESDAY 7TH DECEMBER 2016
Drama students studying New Directions bring you their final, assessed performances. Through interogatting, debating and exploring the nature of theatre directing, thoery and practice these students present their adaptations and explorations of William Shakespeare's King Lear.
See exerpts and segments of this classic tale like you have never seen it before. Over 3 days the students will be presenting short performances either re-creating or taking inspiration from Shakespeare's classical text taking approaches influenced by practitioners such as Thomas Ostermeier, Katie Mitchell, Simon McBurney and Romeo Castellucci.
Tickets can be purchased for a series of performances, details of these are below. There will be breaks between each performance. Please arrive atleast 5 minutes before start time.

Wednesday 7th December; Jarman Studio 1 6.45pm - 9.15pm
