The celebrated bass viol player Richard Boothby will play a selection of the recently-discovered Fantasias for solo viol by Telemann and some of William Lawes’s lyra viol music, which he has recently recorded.
The venue is a beautiful riverside homage to Shakespeare by the actor largely responsible for bringing his work back into popularity. Food and drink will be provided by our faithful chef Cat Evans, and those wanting a seat at the front will need to book in advance.
