On October 21st we welcome Gordon MacIntyre-Kemp to Morningside.
In 2014 there were a number of questions we feel did not make the case for independence strongly enough - we have to have them nailed down this time around. Equally, when the answers were there we were not robust enough to combat the scares and myths around some of the subjects.
Business For Scotland is a group of ethical Small to Medium Enterprise leaders that analyse the best options for Scotland. The data gathered and initiatives pursued point quite directly for an independent Scotland beng the best way forward and they campaigned the length and breadth of the country for a Yes vote.
In order to help get the message out to the communities and sectors where we struggled the most Gordon is coming to speak and take questions on Friday October 21st. This will be at the Columcille Centre - a fantastic cause to support too.
Gordon MacIntyre-Kemp is the Founder and Chief Executive of Business for Scotland. Before joining Business for Scotland full time first as its MD and then CEO he ran a small social media and sales & marketing consultancy.
With a degree in business, marketing and economics, Gordon has worked as an economic development planning professional, and in marketing roles specialising in pricing modelling and promotional evaluation for global companies (including P&G).
Gordon benefits (not suffers) from dyslexia, and is a proponent of the emerging New Economics School. Gordon contributes articles to Business for Scotland, The National and The Huffington Post.
I encourage you to come to hear the economic arguments for an independent Scotland and the real impact of Brexit. Bring your questions but most importantly bring others who might have voted NO previously but are not warming to YES.
(This will agan be a free YESth event with donations taken on the night.)
