Workshop aim

Key account clients are vital to the success of a PR Agency – a proactive yet commercially sound approach is required to grow these accounts and maximise revenue for the business. This workshop will enable delegates to understand the importance of growing these key client accounts effectively and develop plans for generating revenue from these core clients. 

What to expect?

  • Understanding what is driving your business – growth, profitability, share 
  • Identification and analysis of client portfolio 

  • Developing a strategic understanding of key clients to map where the opportunities are to grow the accounts.

  • Stakeholder mapping - influence v visibility
  • Transforming client relationships through the use of DiSC (a personal behaviour assessment tool) to understand personal and others behaviour and communication traits. 

  • Defining goals, opportunities and setting clear objectives 

  • Strengthening your client position, identifying factors to fix and solutions moving forward. 

Workshop outcomes

  • A clear understanding of the key accounts that are crucial to business success and the accounts that have the potential to deliver more revenue. 
  • An insight into developing a key account strategy which is aligned to core business objectives. 
  • A deeper understanding of how to demonstrate value and economic drivers for the client 
  • A key account plan which can be replicated across other client accounts. 
  • Tips on transforming client relationships to ensure deeper client engagement. 

Joanna Sadie has 20 years of sales, sales training and recruitment experience. Her career started in b2b media sales before she moved to the fast paced world of newspaper sales and ran a team at The Independent. After having twins she started Leapfrog consultancy. Joanna has recruited, trained and coached sales people from many different industries including Media, Finance & Accountancy, and has focused most recently on in-house consultancy and training for companies in the competitive world of promotional merchandise.
