Overview
Get ready for real talk, practical tips with the New Forest Parenting Programme - TEENS!
This 6-week course aims to improve parents’ and carers’ knowledge of ADHD and how it affects their teenager. Meet other parents and learn ways to:
- accept and celebrate your child as they are
- support your child and build their skills
- reduce your stress as a parent
- manage difficulties
- understand how neurological and physiological changes in adolescence interact with ADHD behaviours
Who is it for? Parents & carers of children aged 12 to 16 who have a diagnosis of ADHD or ADHD type characteristics
Please note: By booking a ticket, you are reserving a place for the full 6-week course. Attendance at all sessions is recommended to get the most out of the programme.
This course will run 6pm - 8pm every week, the dates for this course are as follows:
