Bob Brown will presenting a talk about new varieties of plants which have been bred with success. His talk will look at some of the more recent plants in cultivation for example Senecio ‘Angel Wings’, and the Shapcott series of Leucanthemum.

Bob started Cotswold Garden Flowers Nursery in 1989 making this year a special celebration of 30 years since inception. Previously a school teacher, he turned his passion for plants into a way of life. He has specialised in Hardy Perennials but includes many other types of plants in his collection. With more than 1000 varieties in cultivation at the nursery, he is always on the lookout for new ones. These originate from other enthusiasts, other nurseries, travel to foreign nurseries and seed collecting in the wild. He writes a monthly column in ‘Gardening Which?’, sharing many aspects of his knowledge and interests.
