OCR Media and Film Studies Regional School Networks

First teach September 2017 specifications

During the summer term we are looking to start to roll out and build up a programme of regional networks for OCR Media and Film teachers across the country.

The intention of these networks is to:

  • allow teachers to share best practice, ideas and solutions to any common problems e.g. resource management for NEA productions
  • allow teachers to build up and form their own local support networks with teachers
  • provide updates on the latest Media and Film subject related news from the exam board

The networks will either be facilitated by an OCR Subject Advisor or an experienced teaching professional on behalf of OCR.

To get the programme going the networks in the summer term will be joint Media and Film events that give overviews of the new specifications. Then as we move into the autumn term and beyond the networks may become more subject or level focussed e.g. either networks for GCSE or A Level or Media or Film.
