New Horizons in Imaging Science
Tuesday, March 19, 2013 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM (GMT)
Modern imaging technology has widened our knowledge and appreciation of the world more than we could have ever imagined. Explore some examples of what new applications in imaging science at the University of Southampton can reveal in areas such as archaeology, health sciences and biological systems through a series of 30 minute presentations by Dr Sumeet Mahajan, Dr Michael Bennett, Dr Andrew Shevchuk and Dr Graeme Earl and an introductory overview by Professor Peter J. Smith (Institute for Life Sciences).
Wine and nibbles will be available from 16:30pm.
Please be aware that filming and photography will be carried out throughout the Multidisciplinary Research Week. If you would like to object to being filmed or photographed throughout the event, then please contact email@example.com.
