About this event

Home & Lifestyle • Home & Garden

The New Housing Conversation Days are an opportunity to meet with others with a calling to new housing areas. During the day we will explore, learn and theologically reflect together through interactive activities, conversation, and story sharing. A key part of the day is growing friendships so that we all have people to journey with, long after the Conversation Day is over.

Whether you are new to this ministry or have been involved in new housing for many years, you are welcome to come and join the conversation!

It is taking place in the Ebbsfleet Garden City – a new housing area of 15,000 homes in total, and still partway through the development. We hope you will enjoy being in another new neighborhood as we share together.

We have friends from the Netherlands joining us for the day too.

So here are the details you need to plan for the day:

Date: Thursday 23rd October

Time: 10am – 3pm (coffee from 9:30am)

Venue: Castle Hill Community Centre, Cherry Orchard, Castle Hill, Ebbsfleet, DA10 1BR

Cost: £10 (which includes a buffet lunch)

Travel / parking details:

By car from the A2 take the turn off for Ebbsfleet International station. Follow signs to Swanscombe, then take the exit at the roundabout marked Castle Hill South. Follow Castle Hill Drive, turn right at the bottom of the hill (still on Castle Hill Drive) and then take first right into Cherry Orchard. The community centre and car park is on the right next to the primary school.

The parking is free for the day if you are using the centre, you will just need to enter your car registration into the iPad in the centre.

By train/ bus:

Take the South Eastern Highspeed train to Ebbsfleet International.

From here, you can walk – approximately 25 mins walk, or you can get a bus.

Bus details: Fastrack E towards Blue water (get off at Cherry Orchard) – 5 min journey and bus times from Ebbsfleet station are: 09:20 and 09:50

From the bus stop walk left into Cherry orchard, go past the estate agents and take the first left – you will see the community centre in front of you.
