This event is for anyone interested in joining the OPAL Primary Programme and improving playtime for the children at their school!
11am–12pm Introduction to OPAL
An introduction to the programme with time for questions. This is open to anyone considering how to make their playtimes amazing.
12pm–1pm Observation of playtime
Come and see a platinum OPAL playtime in action – ask the children about how they manage risk and the grown-ups about the changes they have seen.
About Joseph Cash Primary School
Joseph Cash is a two form entry primary school. They welcome children from a wide range of different cultures; 70% of their children speak English as an additional language. The 'Joseph Cash Way' is all about providing children with the skills, confidence and self-belief to lead a happy and fulfilled life. Their curriculum core values are centred around aspirations, wellbeing and growth mindset and academic success; all of which can be palpably experienced via their outdoor play and learning provision. Joseph Cash was awarded a Platinum OPAL Award in October 2024 for their phenomenal culture, provision and environment for play.

We will be indoors and outdoors; please come dressed whatever the weather. OPAL schools play outdoors in all weathers.
Parking is limited. However, there is plenty of on street parking nearby.
Tea and coffee will be available.
Only two tickets per schools please. If you can no longer come, please let us know so we can release your place to another school.
