About St Andrew's C of E Primary School
St Andrew's Church of England Primary School is a two-form entry school with extensive grounds, consisting of a large field, forest school area, reflection garden and two playgrounds.
St Andrew's started their OPAL journey in September 2023 and were awarded the OPAL Platinum Award in October 2024 for their outstanding play provision – providing children with an amazing playtime, every single day. The school strives to ensure that every child has the opportunity to access a rich play offer, regardless of age, gender or SEND. They had their SIAMS inspection in July 2024, which recognised the contribution OPAL makes to the school's Christian ethos, values and sense of community.
Come and see their wonderful landscape for play, including a 60 tonne sandpit, a large messy cafe, their own play village, a large loose parts and den building area, a low loose parts zone, dressing up, music and stage area, arts and crafts, wheels zone, small world play and a reflection garden with a boat!
