Hosted by Marie-Claire O'Brien, the Founder and CEO of the New Leaf Initiative CIC (www.newleafcic.org) this conference and awards ceremony is an opportunity to listen to those who mirror rehabilitation in action whilst using their Lived Experience of the Criminal Justice system in the U.K to make a difference in the lives of others still trapped within it.

Come with us as we propel our network into 2021, following what can only be described as a disastrous and disappointing 2020.

Our previous research and this conference has enabled the network to form, unite and present this event. Support us as allies as we recognise the achievements of those with Lived Experience who have already made a difference to the community at our evening Awards Ceremony.

There will be inspiring and informative keynote speakers with the opportunity to ask questions, including funders, industry/sector experts and leaders with Lived experiences that you might not expect, but we are sure you would not want to miss hearing from!

Interactive breakout sessions will give all the opportunity to be heard and provide feedback, stimulating debate and stretching thinking around certain topics such as risk, rehabilitation and redemption.

The awards ceremony in the evening (5:30 until 7pm) will be an opportunity for those attending to dress up and celebrate with the winners of the inaugural New Leaf Network Award winners. Black tie and Ball gowns encouraged and applauded as we show Covid-19 that it might stop the party, but it will never stop the connections that make us great.
