Event description

Description

There is a new moon on 4th May, which is a time to honour new beginnings and we are also close to Beltane, a time of fertility and manifestation in the natural world.

Join Emma and Jenny in a special collaboration, to honour this potent time of becoming. We will honour and sharing any new beginnings’ that are growing in your life at the moment. Starting with a new moon circle, with reflection, sharing, sound, song and a splash of creative activity, we will end with a time to relax and gather our intentions for growth, with the sounds of live musical instruments and spirit song, to cleanse and balance our energies as we move into summer. Please bring an object of current significance to you, to share on the altar.

Places will be limited. Advanced booking is advised. It may also be possible to turn up and book on the day.

This circle is part of a day of celebration of the opening of the Mission Hall Studio's and is therefore offered at a special price of £11.

All welcome.

Jenny Smith is a professional artist with over 30 years experience of teaching creativity. She has been practicing Serene Reflection Meditation for 20 years and 5R's dance for 5 years. Jenny is also a qualified Shamanic Practitioner and is currently interested in re-membering our inherent (and sometimes forgotten) relationship to the cycles of the natural world. Jenny holds the circle by drawing on her experience in all of the above, as well as following whatever she is guided to do in the moment.

Emma Stout is a holistic practitioner, musician and healer born in Edinburgh, Scotland. She comes from a Scottish and Irish family of musicians and is currently exploring her Celtic healing roots. Emma works with healing traditions from around the world, carrying deep respect for these cultures and teachings. She has been an energy healer and channel from a young age and has also had many years of academic study in Complementary Healthcare. Her work is from her heart and soul, and she continues to study and develop as a practitioner with her guides and teachers here in Scotland, carrying their wisdom alongside her work.
