The timing of this special Sound Bath begins with the The New Moon itself. It is a remarkably powerful window to begin anything new. Think of it as a blank canvas for you to begin a new project, relationship, career change, improved health, in fact anything that you have dreamed of, or want to aspire to. For hundreds of years humans, have worked with these attracting Lunar energies, to attract wishes, and desires into their lives. The ancient Chinese taught us that 'like attracts like'. Micheal's Gong Studio

A warm welcome awaits you at my Gong Studio, situated on the Chase Farm Estate, just off the A189 Spine Road near Blyth which can accommodate 3 guests for this session. Our full postal address will be on your ticket, and there is car parking available on the drive and in front of our house. Guests can choose the cosy Chaise longue sofa, Reclined chair or a traditional Yoga mat. My Gong Baths are open to anyone over 18 years. Teenagers 16 - 18 are welcome to attend, where accompanied by a parent

Unlike larger venues, where the instruments may seem distant or unreachable, my dedicated Studio brings my fantastic Instruments up close and personal, and creates an environment where my guests can truly witness the passion and dedication poured into every tone and overtone produced from my amazing Drums and Gongs. And being up close to the instruments, offers you a more cozy, intimate atmosphere which helps to create a sense of oneness, with other guests, the Earth, as well as the Universe itself.

Behing The Scenes

After your event concludes you are welcome to spend some time finding out what happens behind the scenes, so to speak where Micheal will talk about how the Crystals, Reiki, Sound and Lunar Energies work, and how it is all blended together with Spiritual Intent. Hot Herbal teas are available and there will be time for questions, to share experiences (if you wish to do so), and even try your hand at playing the Drums and Gongs yourself before heading off home. Micheal has a range of leaflets and handouts to help you maintain your higher vibration and get the most out of your New Moon Sound Bath.

What Should I Expect During a Session?

If you have not experienced a Gong Bath before don’t worry there is no clothes to remove, or ‘getting wet’. The term ‘bath’ relates to you being ‘bathed’ in sound waves. Here I hold space for the healing energy to permeate and expand, and to use the attracting Lunar energy for your wishes and ddesires through the power of Intention. Each session is unique and individual, never to be replicated. All energetic meditative practices arise in the moment through intuition and connection to the Universe.

We are all Divine beings experiencing a human journey, and here Micheal provides us with a brief journey back to the Universe to feel and experience the Universal consciousness where your body is cleansed, re-booted, re-calibrated and filled with healing spiritual energy. The vibrations massage every one of our bodies 37 trillion cells, our 39 trillion bacteria that work continuously to keep us healthy and well, plus the billions upon billions of atoms that make up our body, many of these coming to us from the Big Bang over13 billion years ago and the remainder of our atoms are from exploding stars, making each of us a miniscule part of the Universe, where we are all connected to everything and everyone else. The healing qualities of the vibrations are fully absorbed, and assimilated into our body. All the good things coming your way is of a benevolent nature, full of peace, love, harmony, healing and positive intentions.

Drumming and Gonging

Sound therapy is a very special and unique experience, where attendees traditionally lay down on a yoga mat with their heads facing the Gong, or in a warm cosy sleeping bag. For those who prefer to sit upright rather than being horizontal Micheal's relaxing reclined chair is a nice alternative. The sound and vibrations will flow through and saturate your body energetically, emotionally, mentally and physically. Sound therapy is a very powerful tool, allowing us to unplug ourselves from the hectic grid, and activate, and modify our states of consciousness in a positive way, to readjust the bodies natural rhythms, release tension and energy blockages, and bring inner calm and stillness, where deep healing can then occur.

Preparation

Please try to avoid any large meals, and drinking any alcohol prior to arriving. It is quite normal for your body temperature to drop during a Sound Bath, or any energy work, and loose fitting clothes are recommended. This session combines High Vibration Crystal,Reiki,Sound and Chi Kung energy, as well as Lunar Energy. There will be at least half an hour at the end to share your experiences and ask questions.should you wish to do so, or just soak up the high vibrational energies, over a filtered or bottled water with Michael.

Car parking is available for up to 3 cars, one on our drive and two at the front of our house.

You can pay when you book or opt to pay on the door when you arrive using cash. If you need to cancell I'll offer you a full refund or a free transfer up to the day before the event.

Your Healing Journey Starts Here

Once comfortable Micheal will talk you through a different type of breathing, and an ancient inner Qigong exercise called the Healing smile to help prepare your body for the high vibrations drom his instruments which for this New Moon session are three Gongs and two drums. Then after a short guided meditation, where you will send off your desires into the universe using Intent, you can then let your mind wonder onto a journey which promises to be as different as each of us. During the session your body absorbs and assimilates the beautiful healing sound waves from the Gongs and Drums.

These journey's can resemble a day dream, where your mind can feel miles away from your body, and for some, as if you have left your body altogether, even though your always safe and connected to the Earth at all times. Time can become strangely distorted during a Sound Bath. As we drift and cycle through different levels of consciousness time may feel as if its been contracted or gone quicker, while for some it may feel the opposite, as if time has been expanded and felt much longer. And as your relaxation, energy and vibration increases further your journey can take you anywhere and everywhere.

Eventually the session comes to an end, as the sound from the Gong and Drum slowly fall silent and disappear. This is not an empty silence however, but a Sacred silence full of energy for you to soak up as you gently return to Earth. And as you slowly come back down to Earth, your body will be waiting for you, but it will feel different. Less Stressed, More Calm, Balanced, Uplifted and Energised. Most people say they feel lighter, and happier, having Sensed and Felt the Warmth and Unconditional Absolute Love of the Universe. In the Sacred Silence that follows Micheal will read a poem as you soak up the receding energies from the Gong and Drum as your awareness and consciousness of the physical world slowly return to you.

New Moon Sound Bath

For hundreds of years humans, have worked with the attracting Lunar energies. The ancient Chinese taught us that 'like attracts like'. and that our thoughts are energy which are sent out into the universe to attract whatever we want to attract into our lives. Up to the present day, the moon has both fascinated and intrigued humans, as well as being associated and intertwined with psychology, symbolism, science, and even spiritual sources from time immemorial. The ancient Chinese as well as other cultures taught us that energy follows thought, and like attracts like. Here we are sending out our intentions into the Universe, using the attracting energy of the Moon to help us achieve rhat which we seek.

Meet My Instruments

The Gongs

Gongs are one of the oldest and most powerful therapeutic and transformational instruments on this world. For thousands of years these timeless instruments have been used for, ceremonies, rituals, prayers, and meditation. Sound Healing can raise our bodies vibration, and at the same time slow down our brainwaves, together this greatly enhances the body’s natural ability to regenerate and heal itself, and reach its optimal state of functioning, while offering a psycho-acoustic gateway to a heightened state of consciousnesses, as the sound frequencies surpass the intellectual part of the brain before travelling to the core of the bodies cellular system, where the healing qualities can be fully absorbed and assimilated.

The Gong Produces a Huge Plasma Field Around Everyone Present

The late theoretical physicist "David Bohm" discovered that when a Gong is played, the metal becomes “excited”, and the electrons become highly charged electromagnetically, forming a huge plasma field to be created off the Gong and both the player and listeners become part of that field. When the vibrational activity of the Gong ends, the electrons ‘go back’ to their original atoms, and once the Gong comes to rest the energy field collapses. When the Gong is revved up again the Plasma field expands and intensifies. Thus from a scientific point the participants of the event are being electromagnetically charged in a positive, benevolent and holistic fashion. Many walk away with a natural buzz that in some cases has lasted for a week. Metal is the only material known where the electrons leave their atoms and join other atoms

The Gongs have a tremendous potential for healing and rejuvenation, and are played with a variety of mallets, and styles of play to overly avoid a monotonous rhythm. Each Gong is capable of producing not only beautiful tones, but complex rich overtones. These haunting magical sounds from the gong can quickly entrain our brainwaves to slow down from the normal waking "Beta state" into the lower "Alpha" and "Theta" states and for many the journey will take them even deeper into the "Delta". state.

These altered states of consciousness are well researched and as the brain slows down the brain releases a myriad of happy positive hormones which has been shown to reduce tension and stress, improve blood pressure, elevate our moods, calming our minds, whilst promoting healing and wellbeing, they can also reduce pain. Coupled with our increased vibrational rate help connect us to our higher selves and the universe.

The Shamanic Drum

For centuries, shamans have been using drumming as a way to improve and increase our body Frequency, as well as slowing and expanding our brainwaves to initiate healing, and to enter altered states of consciousness and connect with the higher dimensions of the Universe.

Shamans believed that Drumming opens a Portal through which the Spiritual Universe can be reached in the same way that Gonging can. In addition to their huge ability to heal us. Listening to the repetitive, regular beats of a Shaman Drum have a range of positive physiological, and physcological effects on the body. The rhythm of the beat can move the brain waves into a theta state. While the left and right sides of the brain become synchronised, and entrained, producing a trance like state where it is possible to navigate our way to these higher dimensions, in order to gain information and guidance, as well as providing us with profound feelings of peace, and remmembering that we are connected to everyone, and everything one again.

Experiencing Energies

During a Crystal Reiki Sound Bath it is very possible you will feel the connection with the universe, and even the creator of all things. This can be a very memorable and emotional experience for many, but in a truly good and positive way. While you are in the protection and safety of the Gong Space, many people will experience positive feelings of peace, bliss,contentment, happiness, joy, compassion and love throughout the session as your body begins resonating at a higher frequency from the combination of Crystals, Reiki and Sound Vibrations.

It is possible for some people to experience very brief moments of anxiety, grief or sadness while harmful negative energies begin to collapse, and fall away and this is perfectly normal and beneficial to maintain our mental health.

Should this happen you can restart your deep belly breaths and or the Healing smile at any point which will help to re-ground you, and minimise any anxieties or other negative feelings. Micheal incorporates periods of silence or "Sandhya" between the sounds, in order to help your mind process and release any negative experiences,and feelings. The 7 Crystal Reiki healing sessions you will receive afterwards, will also help greatly to completely re balance you and your energy.

Is It Safe For Me?

Taking part in a combined Sound, Crystal,Reiki and Chi Kung healing session is considered safe for most people, regardless of age or fitness level, and my sessions are open to anyone from 18 years of age. Teenagers of 16 to 17 may attend with a parent.

Purely as a precautionary measure it is not recommended if you are pregnant, or have a pacemaker, epilepsy, seizures. Or if you have schizophrenia or Bipolar. If you are in any doubt about any of your medical conditions please speak with your GP first. Also please avoid any heavy meals or alcohol prior to, and after your Gong bath Thank you.

Some people can be affected by the New Moon in a negative way,depression, adverse mood swings and even negative hallucinations for some, in which case the amplifying of the combined energies including the lunar energies should be avoided, and it is recommended that you do not attend this type of session.

Here you can ask questions, ask Micheal how the energies are blended, explain about Distand Reiki and how that works or anything else you can think of, share eperiences(only if you want to) and even try the instruments yourself all while having a hot herbal tea of your choice, before heading off home.
