New opportunities for match funded RCTs on skills and employment
Fri 13 January 2017, 12:30 – 15:00 GMT
HACT has been running a series of Randomised Controlled Trials (RCTs) with various housing providers to test the effectiveness of services and communications methods at supporting tenants to reduces arrears and minimise tenancy failure.
We are delighted to announce that JRF has made funding available to support the delivery of match-funded RCTs in the housing sector, with HACT as the research delivery partner. At a time when resource is increasingly under pressure, generating evidence about what works will help focus investment on those interventions and programmes that produce positive outcomes. We’re really excited about the potential of these new trials to generate robust evidence about the effectiveness of a wide range of interventions that focus upon skills and employment.
HACT and JRF hosted a roundtable for interested housing providers in London December 2016. Due to the level of interest, particularly from those based in the North West we are hosting a second roundtable in Manchester on 13th January 2017 to bring together housing providers interested in getting involved in these new trials, discuss potential interventions to test and next steps.
For more information about the new RCTs and how to get involved, please contact: Frances Harkin email@example.com
*Please note this is a free event with a light lunch provided for employees working within housing providers.*
