About this event

Session 1 – Opening Doors to New Opportunities: Practical Routes to Expanding Your Social Enterprise

Discover how to take your social enterprise into untapped spaces – whether that’s selling across the region, reaching a new group of individual users/funders or branching into a different sector.

You’ll explore ways to spot hidden demand, adapt your offer to suit different needs and avoid the common pitfalls of growth.

You’ll leave with a tailored action map for your next expansion move, plus a toolkit of simple research and planning methods you can put to work straight away.

Organized by

The Social Enterprise Accelerator (SEA) project offers a comprehensive support package to help Nottingham's social entrepreneurs and community innovators bring their new social enterprise ideas to life - or grow their existing Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisation.

Between April 2025 and March 2026 SEA will host training workshops, networking events and one-to-one/small group support sessions. All events will be posted here on Eventbrite.

SEA is a partnership between Nottingham Trent University and Nottingham Community and Voluntary Service. It is funded by UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF)
