Event description
The Bi Borough is inviting interested providers to attend Reablement Market Engagement Event.

About this event

New Opportunity – Developing Reablement Markets in the Bi-Borough

The Bi-Borough (Westminster City Council and the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea) is improving its reablement services which provides planned, short term intensive support for service users to regain independence and confidence in carrying out everyday activities.

The service plays an important role in maximising our resident's independence and helps prevent reliance and dependency on more intensive care and support, as well as on other statutory services.

The Bi Borough is committed to working with the marketplace to maximise the commissioning opportunities to be gained and therefore would like to invite interested providers to attend Market Engagement Event.

This event will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams on:

Date: Tuesday, 6th July 2021

Time: 14:00 – 17:00

The market engagement event will include a presentation of the Council's improvement plans, overview of the anticipated requirements and the proposed options. It will also offer potential service providers the opportunity to raise any questions or present any views. We therefore encourage Commercial, SMEs, Voluntary and Community Sector organisations, new and existing providers who deliver reablement services to the public to attend the event and provide feedback/share views.

If you would like to express your interest in attending this event, please follow the registration process. You will be required to provide name of delegate and organisation details, including address, delegate email address and contact number. Once registered, you will be sent an invitation to a MS Teams meeting one week prior to the event.

Please note, a separate registration is required for each attendee. A place will be allocated to organisations on a first come first served basis and limited to maximum of three (3) attendees from each organisation.

Following your completion of the benchmarking survey there will be further discussions regarding options for providing personalised and bespoke reablement services.

Providers please note:

• The event is part of preliminary consultation to promote choice and control for residents.

• This notice is not a call for competition. For avoidance of doubt, this does not formally signify the beginning of a procurement exercise and does not constitute any commitment by the councils to undertake any procurement exercise.

• Participation in these workshops will not include or preclude any organisation from participating in any future formal procurement exercise.

• Participation in these workshops by providers should not give rise to expectation that their organisation will have an agreement to make service offers to residents.

• The councils will not reimburse providers for any expenses incurred for participating in this event.
