This event will cover the 3Rs that everyone involved in taking on an asset needs to think about - what Rights do we have as communities? What Resources are out there to help us in terms of funding? And, how will we bring in some Revenue to keep the asset sustainable?

Aimed primarily at community groups thinking about, or having newly taken on, an asset.

This event is Free to attend. Max 2 members per group. Staff from Relevant Authorities may want to attend and are welcome to sign up. Priority will however be given to community groups.

AM session RIGHTS- an overview of recent legislation enhancing community rights to acquire assets and what this means for your community

RESOURCES - outlining the key funders in acquiring and developing assets

11:30am - Coffee break

Accessing Funding - the commuity project journey (Speaker TBC) - pitfalls and top tips

1:30pm - 2pm - lunch

2 - 3:30pm - REVENUES - Is there a gap in that market?

An interactive and practical session looking at different asset examples from enterprising communities; indentifying key issues and what you can put in to practice in your own community.

3:30pm - Closing Remarks
