New Scots Ceilidh - Explorathon 2019
Date and time
Description
Come celebrate the diverse cultures & research here in Scotland at our free ceilidh with the award-winning Science Ceilidh as part of Explorathon - Researchers' Night Scotland happening all across Europe.
We'll be sharing both traditional and not-so-traditional dances from Scotland and around the world - no research or dance experience required!
There will be informal talks on how turn-taking in music and language may help us communicate with Dr Nina Fisher University of Edinburgh Philosophy, Psychology & Language Sciences and the benefits of bilingualism and creativity for the brain with PhD researcher Brittany Blankinship Bilingualism Matters.
Free, but reservation highly recommended as we sold out last year
