Please note that day 1 (30th June) will be held at MathWorks on the Cambridge Science Park.


This course is for teachers who are new to teaching A level, or are planning on teaching it soon. We will be building on GCSE concepts, so you should already be comfortable and familiar with the subject knowledge covered in the Physics section of the GCSE combined science.


Over four days of face-to-face teaching we will cover a wide range of topics from Year 12 and some from Year 13. You will have a chance to develop your:

- Content knowledge

- Practical skills

- Mathematical skills

- Subject specific pedagogy – ideas on how to teach the topics effectively.
